Founder of Afroz Shipping Line and Managing Director of Shah Marine and Business Institute (SMBI). As a Marine Engineer himself, he always took active interest in making world class officers in the field of Marine Engineering and thus after his return to Bangladesh launched SMBI. Shah has now extended his hands on shipping line with his relevant experience in the field over the years. He plans to offer the services of his shipping line to manning support as well as sea placement of his cadets who will successfully complete their 2 years pre-sea training from SMBI and STC. Shah’s career also involves working with Barclays, Cosine, JJB and British Gas among others.

Chairperson of Afroz Shipping Line and Co-founder and Chairperson of Shah Marine and Business Institute (SMBI). She started her career as an English teacher. During her time in UK she gained knowledge by working with leading companies like Thomas cook, British telecom. She has also worked with HSBC Bank UK where she gathered the most valuable business sense and vision to go for her own business which would require customer care and fund management. There is no doubt that the shipping line is a modern mixture of Commercial benefit and Customer service where her role fits in.
